Cuisinart GR-300WS

In the Cuisinart gr-300ws griddler elite grill review I found that this is the full name of this Cuisinart GR-300WS electric indoor grill I will review here.

With its 1800 Watts is a very well-powered grill. This is also why the sear option got so many good ratings.

The heating element is in the plates and not separate. There are some buyers that mention that it is easy to clean.

Be aware that this is a pretty large grill and if placed on the countertop and you open the top plate it will probably hit the top cabinet.

Cuisinart GR-300ws grill surface

Like always it is very important what the dimension is before even thinking about buying a grill.
This Cuisinart GR-300 WS comes with 2 plates that can be used closed with the food in between or separate and then the cooking surface is larger of course.

Each plat is about 11 x 12 inches so this is about 132 square inches each and the total, if you would use it open, would be around 240 effective cooking area square inches. This is a nice size for an indoor electric grill.

Customer reviews of the Cuisinart elite griddler 300ws

Cuisinart GR 300WS ratings

“I absolutely love this countertop grill. We’ve only had it a week, but I have put it through the paces of my usual cooking habits. It’s versatility and removable cooking plates make it easy to use and easy to clean. I’ve already butterflied a chicken and grilled it, prepared sausage and scrambled eggs ….”

“We bought this product because we moved to a high rise condo and that means we can no longer grill outside. No yard and no balcony. We were unsure whether this would fill our needs, but it has turned out to be perfect. Tonight we had grilled salmon. It was easy to cook, and best of all, easy to clean up. Previously we have grilled steaks and brats. Each time we marvel at how well this works. Yes, there is some smoke, but we have the griddler near the stove, and we use the stove fan to vent the smoke….(read more Cuisinart elite griddler gr 300ws reviews: here!)”

Our opinion of the Cuisinart gr-300ws griddler elite

This specific model has been around for a few years and still, people buy it and give it pretty nice ratings.

There are a few that mentioned that the grease will not always run into the little trap and one mentioned that for that reason he does not cook bacon on it anymore. I have not really read too much more about that complaint.

The size when it is opened is more of a problem when you place it on a standard kitchen countertop with kitchen cabinets above it. The height of the unit makes it hard to fully open it. It will hit the top kitchen cabinets.

One complaint was about the heating element being placed in the plates and he thought that was the reason his grilled sandwich was a little burned at those spots.

although the plates are dishwasher safe on the top rack, most people prefer to wash them by hand. They are scared that the dishwasher will ruin the non-stick surface, but I can not find any proof of that.

As always be aware of what you do when you unpack the product and try to use it as fast as possible. The return policy period is over faster than you think.

Overall I can recommend this Cuisinart GR-300WS Griddler elite grill with its stainless steel as a good buy. This all is based on all the research I did. I advise you to do your own research.
