I started on the electric smoker reviews because I have seen an increase in the sales of these vertical smokers.
I also found some confusing information about the use of an electric smoker since you can in some situations consider them pellet smokers like I reviewed since they also use electricity.

This web page will grow over time like all my pages do when I add more information on how to find the best electric smoker for your specific situation. As you can read in my electric grill reviews there are many options to use these grills also for smoking. But the ones I will review here are specially made for smoking. If you are looking for a grill you can have a look at my electric grill reviews on that page.

There are several models and brands of electric smokers on the market.
Some are good and some are not to be considered the best electric smoker you can find but it might be great for the way you use it. It all depends on what you use it for and how many times you use it.

“The best electric smoker is the one you use and learn to use in the right way.”

Here is where I start with my list of electric smokers and links to their in-depth reviews of them.
I also will link to where to find the best deals on them.

Brinkmann Electric Smokers

Brinkmann will be a top brand in grills and smokers. I found a few Brinkmann electric smokers that probably will be reviewed.

Char Broil Electric Smokers

Many people who visit this site love the Char Broil brand, which is probably why they also look for Char Broil digital smoker reviews online. That means that they will be on my to-do list.

Bradley Electric Smokers

The Bradly electric smoker can be named one of the top-rated ones.
Although a little higher priced this might be the one you are looking for.

I have not looked any deeper into the Bradley smokers since they can be more compared to pellet smokers with the difference that they use what Bradley calls Bisquettes.

Besides doing just electric digital smoker reviews I will also tell you all there is to know about wood for smoking.
You can read all about that in the wood chips for electric smokers post I did a while ago.

It is always good to read more about smoking on an electric smoker and I will also find some good books about electric smokers and the subject of how to use them.

Advantages Of An Electric Smoker

Some people claim that an electric heating element should not be used for a smoker. I think this is not true.
The electric smokers I talk about here are designed for that purpose and I have had meat smoked in them that tasted great.

The advantage is that you don’t have to fool with charcoal, propane or pellets like in a pellet smoker. Just plug it into a standard 220 Volt outlet and you can start smoking. Depending on the brand and model you can set the temperature you desire and all you have to do is maybe add some more wood and watch your time.

Generally, the temperature is maintained at the same level, but like with any other product, there are different qualities and prices.
